Excel Feeding Hay with Dandelion and Marigold is a natural field-grown product produced in the countryside. As such although all possible precautions are taken it is possible for extraneous matter items from the field to find their way into the product without detection.
There are three parts to a Burgess Hay plant, all of which provide the ideal feed for herbivores. Hay for feeding small pets should contain approximately 7% protein and 30% fibre. Varieties such as Burgess Hay are better quality than meadow hays because they have a high fibre content, are more palatable and great for chewing and maintaining healthy teeth.
The above figures are approximations only
Burgess hay is known to be palatable for all herbivores, but the seed head is the tastiest part of the crop.
The leaf is a natural source of essential vitamins and minerals.
The most important part the hay, each stem is high in fibre, which helps digestion and prevents obesity
Remember that good quality hay and/or grass should make up the majority of your fibrevores’ diet and should be available at all times.
Fibrevores should also be fed a small amount of Excel Tasty Nuggets, A small Nature Snack and a small amount of leafy greens each day. Please talk to your vet for further information.
